Chmelevski and Kyrou Win Gold

Jordan Kyrou and Sasha Chmelevski will come to Sarnia Sting Camp August 31 with gold medals.

Kyrou and Team Canada rolled over Sweden Sunday to win Canada’s eighth straight gold medal at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament. He was one of six OHLers on Canada’s roster.

Chmelevski and his US squad beat Germany 8-1 in Sunday’s final at the Five Nations under 17 tournament. Chmelevski had a goal and two assists in the game, capping off a strong tournament for the Sting first rounder.

Sarnia Sting camps starts August 31 with their annual Black and White game set for Sept 2 at 7:05.

They open up the regular season up Friday, September 25 when they host the Erie Otters.
