Payerl Signs ECHL Deal With Cincinnati

Former OHLer Adam Payerl has signed a contact with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League.

The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators and the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals.

The Kitchener native spent five years in the OHL with Belleville and Barrie, scoring 60 goals and 143 points in 306 career games.

Payerl spent the last three seasons in the Pittsburgh Penguins organization, playing 41 games for the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last season.

He played a pair of NHL games with the Penguins during the 2013-2014 season.
