Barrie Colts 4 @ Niagara IceDogs 1

  • Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 25 of 26 shots, has now only allowed five goals through four games on 150 shots
  • Barrie got two-point nights from Brandon Prophet(1g1a), Kevin Lebanc(1g1a), Justin Scott(1g1a) and Julius Nattinen(2a)
  • Scott and Prophet scored 24 seconds apart to give Barrie a two-goal lead in the third period
  • Niagara captain Anthony DiFruscia scored his third of the season

Sarnia Sting 4 @ North Bay 5

  • North Bay’s Zach Bratina scored a pair of goals, one was a power play, the other short handed
  • Brett McKenzie(1g2a) had a three point night for the Battalion
  • Brett Hargrave made his North Bay debut against the team that originally drafted him.
  • Sarnia scored three late goals to pull within one
  • Nikita KorostelevPatrick WhiteAnthony Salinitri and Alex Black scoring for Sarnia

Hamilton Bulldogs 1 @ Ottawa 67’s 

  • Sam Studnika scored a hat trick for Ottawa
  • Dante Salituro had four assists and Nevin Guy had a pair of helpers for the 67’s
  • Mitchell Mendoca‘s first OHL goal was the lone tally for Hamilton
  • Leo Lazarev made 22 saves to pick up his first win of the season

Kitchener Rangers 4 @Sudbury Wolves 2

  • Two-point nights for Sudbury rookies David Levin(1g1a) and Dmitry Sokolov(2a)
  • Ryan MacInnis(1g1a) and Adam Mascherin(1g1a) had two-point nights for Kitchener
  • Dawson Carty stopped 34 of 36 shots to pick up his first win of the season

Sault Ste. Marie 8 @ Guelph Storm 4

  • After being held of the scoresheet in consecutive games Guelph scored their first goal of the season 7:16 into the second period
  • Guelph’s James McEwan score his first two goals of the season
  • The Greyhounds had multi-point nights from Medric Mercier(2a), Boris Katchouk(2g1a), Blake Speers(3a), Tim Gettinger(3a), Gustav Bouramman(1g1a) and Jack Kopacka(1g1a)
  • Sault Ste. Marie fired 50 shots on goal, including 24 in the first period alone

Windsor Spitfires 6 @ London Knights 5 (OT)

  • Logan Brown(1g2a) scored the winner, Windsor’s second overtime win of the season
  • In four games this season Windsor has gone to overtime three times
  • Solid nights from Gabriel Vilardi(2g), Cole Carter(2a) and Hayden McCool(1g1a) from the Spits
  • Matthew Tkachuk (2a) had his third multi-point game of the season
  • Mitchell Marner(1g1a), Aaron Berisha(2g) and Christian Dvorak(1g3a) also had multi-point nights for London

Kingston Frontenacs 3 @ Mississauga Steelheads 1

  • Two goals from Kingston’s Spener Watson including the eventual game winner in the second period
  • Lucas Peressini made 29 saves to pick up the win
  • Owen Tippett‘s first career OHL goal was the loan tally for the Steelheads

Peterborough Petes 0 @ Oshawa Generals 3

  • Jeremy Brodeur only needed to stop 14 shots to record his third shutout of the young season
  • Matt MisteleAnthony Cirelli and Joe Manchurek scored for Oshawa
  • Peterborough’s Matthew Mancina made 27 saves in the loss
