October 9th Scoreboard

Niagara 2 @ Erie 7

  • Alex DeBrincat had 4 goals and an assist, after scoring 5 times the last time Erie played Niagara
  • Dylan Strome had 5 assists in his season debut
  • Jake Marchment, Christian Girhiny and Kyle Maksimovich scored goals for Erie
  • Niagara goals were scored by Ben Jones (his 1st career point) and Brendan Perlini
  • Niagara outshot Erie 33-29

Mississauga 1 @ Kingston 2

  • Chad Duchesne scored a PP goal with under 2 minutes left in the game to seal it
  • Ryan Cranford also scored for Kingston
  • Mississauga’s lone goal was scored by Stefan LeBlanc
  • Lucas Peressini made 33 saves for Kingston

Oshawa 2 @ Ottawa 4

  • Ottawa’s Artur Tyanulin (2G), Nathan Todd (2A) and Jeremiah Addison (1G,1A) had multi-point games
  • Sam Studnicka had a goal for Ottawa as well
  • Stephen Desrochers and Owen McDade scored for Oshawa

Hamilton 1 @ Sarnia 2

  • Kevin Spinozzi and Anthony Salintri scored for Sarnia
  • Nikita Korostelv assisted on both Sarnia goals
  • Mason Marchment scored in his Bulldogs debut

Saginaw 5 @ Sault Ste. Marie 2

  • Connor Brown and Dylan Sadowy each scored a pair of goals for Saginaw
  • Artem Artemov (1G,1A) also had a two point game
  • Zach Senyshyn and Morgan Frost scored for the Greyhounds
  • Saginaw outshot SSM by a whopping 37-18

Owen Sound 1 @ Guelph 3

  • The Attack outshot Guelph 38-23, but could only score once
  • James McEwan scored twice for Guelph, while Tyler Boston also scored
  • Bryson Cianfrone scored the lone Attack goal

Windsor 3 @ Kitchener 2 OT

  • Christian Fischer scored in overtime to secure a Windsor victory
  • Windsor got two point games from Hayden McCool (1G,1A) and Cristiano DiGiacinto (2A)
  • Aaron Luchuk opened the scoring for Windsor
  • Connor Bunnaman and Adam Mascherin scored for the Rangers

Sudbury 2 @ London 6

  • Brandon Crawley scored twice, with 4 other Knights having two point games
  • Goalie Tyler Parsons was credited with the game winning goal after Sudbury scored on their own open net while awaiting a delayed penalty. Parsons was the last Knight to touch the puck
  • Kole Sherwood (1G,1A), Mitch Marner and Christian Dvorak also scored for London
  • Sudbury’s goals were scored by Jacob Harris and Dmitry Sokolov (1st OHL goal)
