  • Second time Oshawa has shut out Guelph this season
  • Jeremy Broduer made 24 saves to record his fourth shut out of the season
  • Justin Nichols stopped 30 of 31 shots, it was the second time this year he’s allowed just one goal in a loss
  • Stephen Desrocher opened the scoring in the first period, Kenny Huether added an empty netter late

London Knights 8 @ Hamilton Bulldogs 6

  • London got multi-point nights from Christian Dvorak(1g2a), Kole Sherwood(1g1a),  JJ Piccinich(2g1a), Chris Martenet(1g1a) and Mitchell Marner(3a)
  • Trent Fox(3g1a) and Mason Marchment(4a) has four point nights for Hamilton
  • The teams combined for six goals in the first period, and five in the third period
  • Special teams a factor: London went 2/5 with the man advantage, while Hamilton went 3/6

Mississauga Steelheads 3 @ North Bay Battalion 5

  • After dropping their first three games of the season, North Bay has now won three straight
  • Zach Bratina scored a hat trick for the Battalion
  • Alexander Nylander(1g1a) now has points in six of his last seven games

Sudbury Wolves 2 @ Kitchener Rangers 8

  • Kitchener 1st rounder Greg Meireles picked up his first OHL goal and them some, finishing with two goals and three assists
  • Connor Bunnaman(2g), Adam Mascherin(1g1a), David Miller(1g1a), Mason Kohn(1g1a), Dylan Di Perna(2a) and Brian Brosnan(3a)
  • Kitchener has yet to lose in regulation, with all three losses coming in overtime
  • Sudbury has now lost five straight
