The Erie Otters finished with a league leading 105 points, winning more than 50 games for a third consecutive season. The Sarnia Sting set franchise records in wins (42) and points (91) en route to winning their first West Division title since 2004. The Kingston Frontenacs also set franchise records for wins (46) and points (97), winning their first division title since 1995 and finishing with the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Barrie Colts scored the most goals (295) in the Eastern Conference and win their seventh West Division title in franchise history.

The OHL handed out three awards at the conclusion of the regular season.:

Eddie Power Memorial Trophy (top scorer): Kevin Labanc (Barrie) – 65gp 39g 88a 127pts
Dave Pinkey Trophy (lowest team goals against): Tyler Parsons and Brendan Burke (London) – 182 goals against
FW “Dinty” Moore Trophy (best Rookie gaa): Michael DiPietro (Windsor) – 2.45gaa
