Recent OHL Commits

Fresh off an OHL Championship the London Knights still have one eye on the future, announcing a trio of commitments.

The Knights welcome Ian Blacker (4th round in 2015- 70th overall), Liam Foundy (1st round in 2016 – 18th overall) and Richard Whittaker (4th round in 2016 – 69th overall), with all three signing Standard Player Agreements with the OHL club.

Blacker spent last season with his hometown Oakville Blades (OJHL), while Foundy scored 19 goals and 38 points during his Minor Midget season with the Markham Majors.

Whittaker won an OMHA champioship with the York Simcoe Minor Midgets, capping off a year that saw the forward score 44 points in the regular season.

Dylan Seitz (15th round in 2015 – 291st overall) has signed a OHL Standard Player Agreement with the Kitchener Rangers.

The New York native spent last season with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres (OJHL), scoring 13 goals and 29 points in 53 regular season games.

The Mississauga Steelheads have signed a free agent defenceman out of Major Midget.

Jeremey Goodwin signed a Standard Player Agreement with the hockey club following a successful season with the Waterloo Wolves where he scored 14 goals and 22 assists in 31 games from the blue line.

Goodwin went undrafted after his Minor Midget season with the Guelph Gryphons.
