OHL Player of the Week: Robert Thomas

St. Louis Blues prospect Robert Thomas has been named the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending March 4th, picking up seven assists in three games.

Thomas has scored just twice in 18 games since joining the Bulldogs, but has more than made up for that with 20 assists. This season, he has 22 goals and 68 points in 45 games.

The Aurora native was a first round pick (20th overall) of the St. Louis Blues in 2017.

Guelph’s Isaac Ratcliffe (5g 2a) and London’s Liam Foudy (3g 3a) were both in consideration for the award.

In net, Leo Lazarev of the Barrie Colts posted a 2-0-0-0 record making 66 saves for a GAA of 2.50 and sv% of .930.

Fri, Mar 2: 3-1 W vs Ottawa (3 assists)
Sat, Mar 3: 4-1 W vs Oshsawa (2 assists)
