The Montreal Canadiens signed a pair of OHLers to entry level contracts Wednesday, inking Will Bitten and Michael Pezzetta to three year entry level deals.
Pezetta wore the ‘C’ for the Sudbury Wolves before being delt to the Sarnia Sting at the trade deadline, he has seven goals and 19 points in 23 games with his new club.
The Toronto native was drafted by Montreal in the sixth round of the 2016 draft, he was chosen 11th overall by Sudbury in the 2014 OHL draft.

Known more for his physicality and strong two-way game, Pezzetta has registered 47 goals and 109 points in 237 games.
Bitten, a third round pick of Montreal’s in 2016, has scored 19 goals and 61 points with the Hamilton Bulldogs this season. In four OHL seasons with Plymouth, Flint and now Hamilton, the Ottawa-born forward has 214 points in 254 career OHL games.
Plymouth drafted Bitten seventh overall in the 2014 OHL draft.
Bitten isn’t the first Bulldog to sig
n a contract with his NHL club this season.
Earlier this month, Riley Stillman signed his entry level contract with the Florida Panthers, he joined Hamilton in a midseason trade from the Oshawa Generals.
Also earlier in the season, following a strong training camp as a free agent invite, Kaden Fulcher signed an entry level deal with the Red Wings.
